Atlas Copco gamifies an internal process to reduce costs
by Arnaud Henneville, Sep 14 2013

internalDesk announces that it has signed a new agreement with Atlas Copco, an industrial group with world-leading positions in compressors, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems. This agreement follows successful completion of the customization and deliveries for other large companies such as General Electric and The Absolut Company (Group Pernod Ricard).
The objective of the initiative is to lower the number of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and to share best practices around this topic and amongst employees. The target audience is 150 people within the company spread globally and across functions.
“We have started collaboration with internalDesk, an innovating company, to boost the engagement in our projects. The concept of internalDesk is new and fun, which we believe will create the movement we aim for. Our campaign starts now and internalDesk has been very professional so far. We look forward to see the results!”
– A. Björk, Divisional Supply Chain Manager, Atlas Copco GDE
“We are very proud that one of the world’s leading drilling and exploration companies has chosen our technology. This initiative will drive business results by engaging Atlas Cpco’s employees around a strategic initiative in a fun and interactive way.”
